[S5] Stratton Nottingham, Soldiers and Sailors of the Eastern Shore, (Westminster, Maryland: Heritage Books, Inc, 2008), 53, [Exact Text: John White, an officer in the Virginia Navy in the Rev. War, died without issue; he had one brother and two sisters: Robert White the brother of said John White left three children: Robert White, Margaret Hall, and Elizabeth Ross; said Elizabeth Ross is dead and left several children whose names are unknown to the Court. Wealthy Jones, one of the sisters of the said John White, left the following heirs: Rebecca Marshall, wife of John T. Marshall, who is the only dau. of said Wealthy now living; Rebecca Marshall, wife of John S. Marshall, Sr., Sally Collins and Elizabeth Massey dec'd. were grand children of the said Wealthy Jones. Margaret Marshall, another sister of the said John White dec'd. left the following children and heirs: Solomon Marshall, William S. Marshall, Fanny Evans, Eulphamy Johnson and Charlotte Johnson; and said Margaret Marshall left the following grandchildren: Narcissa Delastatious and William Wilkerson and Solomon Wilkerson.
